We didn't plant this tree. So I'm not absolutely positive what it is. It's exact name is a mystery. However, I believe this is a white flowering crab apple that self started years ago from one of our other white crab apple trees. I just don't know which one... I've watch it grow from a twig to a respectable, small tree. For 2020, this is shockingly our ONLY flowering crab apple to flower at all. Flowers are very sparse this year, but there are a few flowers. I didn't think we'd have any at all this year. Discovering these came as a pleasant surprise.
One of these crab apples may be the parent tree: https://pbase.com/britestar/image/159863742
However, not one of them had a single flower this Spring.
