Symbolic

I was trying to think of other titles for this: "All Downhill from Here" or maybe "A Sign of the Future" and other depressing things. This, of course, was not taken with the current COVID 19 crisis in mind. But with the current crisis and our national leadership, I'm afraid the outlook is bleak. I hope all of you out in the PBase world are staying safe and sane.

Australia is in it's 4th week of enforced Public Health Orders for self isolation. Before that requested but not enforced. March 20 no crowds closed all sport events. So I can only take photos whilst on a health walk. But I will take that inconvenience so that our family stays safe, although cabin fever is visiting. Our federal leadership ignored it for too long until our compassionate State politicians ran with it, forcing Federal to catch up. Now that Boris is out of hospital in UK, will be interesting to see what changes are implemented. Stay safe everyone, this will not be over quickly.

I hope there is a hinge on that arrow so that soon it may point upward Dan. It sure is symbolic of the current world situation.

I think that, unfortunately, over the next week or so the arrow will have an even more negative trajectory. But maybe after that there will be flattening and turnaround. We can only hope. As for our leadership at the top, that situation will not be improved without us all going to the polls in November and making our displeasure known.
