string quilter’s mask

…used scraps from a quilt for this
I have some 1inch elastic that I used for fixing the stretched out waist of some old knit shorts
(one side is fuzzy) so I cut it in thirds and used those for the loops.
I cut the fabric strips 9 inches long and then stacked them til I had about six inches; backed it with 6x9 inch white cotton.
The loops were sewed into the mask before I turned it right side out. I cut the elastic 6.5 inches long with
1/4 inches in the seam, so 6 inches for the loops. My seams are 1/4 inches. I sewed around three sides and
left a gap on the fourth side for turning. The pleats are box pleats for a better fit.
