Tried yet another pattern which is the easiest one yet. Only took about a half hour. Had to work on the pleats to make them smaller, so that part of the mask wouldn't gap away from the face. Not totally foolproof, but it sure beats going into a store with a naked face. My next one will be better.

Update: do not make masks from vacuum cleaner bag hepa filters - deemed unsafe by manufacturers!
