Bonnet Carre Spillway, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana

As the River pours through the cracks of the Spillway structure, plans are to open it on April 3, 2020 for the 15th time in its history. The Spillway was completed in 1931 and opened for the first time in 1937.

I am in my car, by myself, no one around for blocks or even miles. Yes, we are very hard hit in Louisiana. As of Saturday everyone is wearing masks.

I am surprised your still allowed to be out and about...here it's strictly exercise walk close to home, groceries, pharmacy and doctor only. We have flattened the curve thankfully but from what I'm hearing your state is next inline for a big hit...please stay safe. Husband and I have isolated ourselves for 4 weeks now and will remain so for as long as it takes.
