I like to listen to audio books. When I am in the car is a good time to listen. I also like to sit on the couch and listen. When I was a youngster, I had to read some Shakespeare for English class. It was terrible because I couldn't seem to catch the meaning. Besides, I really wasn't interested in two love lorn Italian kids. My mom, an English teacher, suggested I go to the high school library and check out the records of the play and then listen and read along. So I went to the library and lugged home a giant album containing about five 78 rpm records. I played the records and followed the text and it worked.
So I got to thinking I might do the same and follow along in a ebook on my ipad. That made a big difference. It was much better. Besides, if I fell asleep the recording continued on, but the ebook stayed on the same page where I fell asleep so it was easy to figure out where to restart.
The only minor problem was that I couldn't find a comfortable way to hold the ipad. Then the light came on in the attic. The couch is where we view our big screen TV from. What if I just screen mirror to my Apple TV gadget and read it on the screen. It worked like a charm. I still fall asleep, however.
