Mortar is missing. I realize this is an extremely exposed house and subject to high winds.

The jackdaws are back nesting in the chomney pot. We got the chimney swept in January and a huge amount of twigs were pulled down. It maybe that the chimney cover has blown off. Can something be done to exclude the jackdaws?
