We went to the dentist today. I really don't like going because we do it four times each year which is way too much. It is the same result every time. The dentist examines and then says,"let's put a watch on number 35." The hygienist says, "We already have that in the record." They have had a watch on that tooth for ten or more years. Nothing has happened. I think it doesn't need to be checked every three months. I lost that discussion with Ginny. So what we do is Ginny goes first. She likes to talk and they get all the pertinent family information updates. When I get in, there is nothing more to add so I say nothing, the examination is not interrupted and I can get out of there faster.

Anyway, it was x-ray day at the dentist. In addition to the annual bite wings, I got the five year panorama shot. X-ray has come a long way. No more film, just electronic sensors. Also pretty high sensitivity on the sensors. That means less radiation. Today's photo is the panorama they took of me. It is 2408 X 1316, about three megapixels. They aren't looking at the teeth so much as looking at the roots and jaw structure. I was told that I passed.
