Scanned from a small grainy picture but the ships history was so interesting that I had to include it in the collection
HMS Zubian was constructed in 1916 out of parts of two ships, the mid and rear sections of HMS Nubian who's bow had been blown off by a torpedo and the front section of HMS Zulu who's stern had been blown off by a mine.
She had a successful career during the remainder of WW1, sinking a U boat and participating in a couple of battles.
She was sold for scrap at the end of 1919.
