National Trust Coast Fund plaque close to Logan Rock and where the proposed parking is visible

Despite the plaque saying the National Trust "needs money for its work of protecting the remaining unspoilt coast line of Cornwall", the Trust is unwilling to Object to the clear Visual Intrusion from National Trust land of the proposed application for permanent parking.

The plaque reinforces the National Trust Mission Statement:
The National Trust was founded in 1895 to promote and look after places of
historic beauty permanently for the benefit of the nation across England,
Wales and Northern Island. Our core purpose is to look after special places
for ever, for everyone.

Note both the Cornwall AOBN and the South West Coast Path Association have objected strongly to the Visual Intrusion but not the National Trust who seems to be caught up in commenting on the need for parking, surely something that is not part of the National Trust's values as described in the cliff top plaque or Mission Statement.

While we agree that there are always compelling reasons for development, there are other alternatives available to putting permanent parking on a ridge line in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that is highly visible from National Trust land.
