BUCKINGHAMIA_CELISISSMA

Loved by Possums and Bees...each night the possums are just outside the bedroom window wandering along the branches while during the day the bees take their fill of deliciously sweet nectar. I love to look at it when it flowers like this. Like all our plants it's struggled to survive our overly long drought but a little rain this month has seen much recovery out there.

I had to look for more info on this lovely tree. No wonder it struggles in the drought, it seems to be native to rainforest. How wonderful it was able to survive and flourish in your garden. Does it have a nice scent to it? You should start keeping bees 😀

A very nice floral shot I bet the butterflies love this plant also.
Your plant reminds a bit of our Butterfly bush .
Glad you has some rain every drop counts.

Very pretty and even more so when the benefits to wildlife are considered.

Beautifully soft, and such unusual blooms, at least to me.
