Downward facing bird! Birds of this species are known, like their cousins the White-breasted Nuthatches, to forage head-down for insects on tree bark; here the "foraging" is sipping water and the surface is stone. Google Images didn't turn up any photos online showing this behavior, so I thought this one was worth posting even though it's not as sharp as I'd like.
