Rock Castles Near Gunnison, Colorado

This was one of the many spectacular rock formations that we flew over returning to Gunnison, Colorado. Our aerial tour was a wonderful addition to our itinerary and well worth the time and cost. I can only imagine what this area would look like with a covering of snow.

This is one of my favorites!
The tiny trees give an awesome sense of scale.
There is beautiful color here with the great play between yellow and green.
