Young volunteers, among 120.000 of them, are collecting money for the Grand Orchestra of Christmas Charity in many places today.
This charity event is held for the 28th time this year, and the Grand Finale traditionally takes place on the second Sunday of January.
All the collected money (also those from numerous auctions) are then used for buying special advanced medical equipment for children hospitals all over Poland.
The collection is held in many countries across the world, wherever there is an active Polish community abroad.
This year all the money collected in Australia will stay in Australia - intended to help fight the fires.
