Watching the Lines in the Road

I know a dog loves to stick their head out the car window and take in all the smells.
However going sixty miles an hour on the Taconic State Parkway is not the place to do that.
Hopefully this handsome German Shepherd didn't have far to go on this road.

Maybe he is lost and the German Shepherd is the smart navigator!
"Turn right just past the sign, dummy!"
I love the drama of your image!

Agreed, not the best place for this practice - a slow dirt road in the country maybe. Nice documentary shot.

I see it all the time and can't imaging it is good for the dog- but they do seem to love it.

still the dog must enjoy the passing views and strong breezes..

Agreed Jane, how can you have 60mph wind into your nostrils and not have a problem with that ? Debris can hit their eyes as well..
I hate to see dogs in the back of open pickup trucks also
