It is the second day of the year. I worked on my annual calendar with Shutterfly and finished it. It takes quite a bit of effort to get it done, but it is always worth the effort. At the last minute I had to change all the December photos because I forgot my tradition is to use the photos that Ginny sends out with the Christmas cards and I had used photos from December just like I do with other months. It turned out this year that February 2019 was a pretty slow month picture wise. There were only 77 that month. Compare that with May when there were 4229 pictures because we were on a road trip. I will order the calendar tomorrow after I have one more chance to inspect it.

The big thrill today was having Mary Beth over for a tour of our mansion as well as a nice dinner cooked by yours truly. Ginny loves showing off the house because it is 100% her design and doing. She did a most professional job and it is very comfortable to live in. I made a nice curry with rice for supper. We had lots of hors d'oeuvres and finished it all off with Ginny's apple cobbler and my Scottish shortbread cookies. Today we have Ginny and Mary Beth with out humble Christmas tree which we will leave in place until Epiphany.
