My father (Colonel Quinn Gray Smith) swears me in for my U.S. Air Force enlistment (April 1971)

Miss you Dad!

He served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WWII as a Bombadier/Navagator on a B26 bomber and spent the remainder of his career as an Intelligence Officer in the U. S. Army. He served In Saigon, Viet Nam in 1966-1967 and retired in 1970 at the age of 45. My father was a brilliant man who spoke six languages fluently (English, Italian, Portugese, Spanish, German, and Russian) and had a personal library of over 10,000 books. He loved to write, listen to music, read, and enjoyed photography as a hobby. He was loved and respected by all who were fortunate enough to get to know him.
