The porcupine is munching away on grass, not concerned about my approach. After whistling a few times, it finally raises its quills, but keeps feeding. Continuing to whistle at the porcupine, it takes a more defensive pose. After a few pictures I left the animal and it went right back to feeding on the grass. It was still there an hour later when I left the area.
