The Cherokee Trading Post complex is a good example of a Rt 66 stop that came rather late in its history that includes a large gift shop, store, gas station, truck stop, and restaurant. There is also a nearby campground and motel. Obviously it is still thriving because, unlike others, it is right on the current interstate highway.
