As long as I can remember our big Melbourne department store has done a wonderful series of Christmas windows. They are different each year and tell various stories - fairy tales, themes and fantasies but the last window is always a Nativity scene.
People queue to see the windows, bring in children and often one has to wait in line as the windows must be viewed in order.
I went as a child, took my own children years ago and now either take a grand child or we just go ourselves as I still love them.
