The Bald Peak Trail headed down these rocks, then back into the forest before joining up with one of the carriage roads. At this point, we still didn't know we would be evacuating the campground soon. Some of the other private campgrounds we remaining open, but we decided to pack it up and call it done. We had experienced so much of what the park and surrounding area had to offer and felt fortunate to have had the time to do all that we did.
