While driving around the west end of Galveston earlier this week we spotted a flock of about thirty White Ibis busy hunting in the marsh. They were walking back and forth in the shallow water as a group with their beaks in the water swinging their heads side to side. Every minute or so one would snatch a crab out of the water and run away from the group to eat their prize. It was quite interesting to watch.
