Savannah Sparrow (Ipswich) - Passerculus sandwichensis princeps

Fitch's Bridge Road fields, Groton, Ma.

This subspecies of Savannah Sparrow is usually seen along the coast, so this inland sighting is rare. The bird looks to be finding things to eat in the manure piles.
