Iceland (Thayer's) Gull juvenile (right) with first-cycle Herring Gull
Similar in size and general appearance, with both showing small black bills. Note difference in primary colors/pattern and subtle differences in upperparts pattern. THGU legs were brighter pink and thinner than HERG.
