Question of the day: Why do we have to go home?

Our final day in England was the icing on the cake! Dan worked half a day; Steph shopped & finished up the packing. We had lunch at our favorite Thai restaurant in Woburn (the only Thai restaurant in town!) and then drove 45 minutes to Tiggywinkles! Tiggywinkles is a wildlife hospital; the busiest and most advanced in the World. Started 40 years ago by the Stocker family in their back garden, Tiggys has treated over 300,000 patients! Utilising the latest technologies, the best veterinary nurses, and Specialist veterinary surgeons, the hospital gives wildlife the best care, treatment, medicine and love available. Their aim is to get everything back to the wild or provide a permanent home to those who are unable to return to the wild.

We had the opportunity to hobnob with the Duchess of Bedfordshire at the NSPCC Luxury Gift Fair. It is a champagne shopping event hosted by the Duchess of Bedford at the Woburn Abbey. Unfortunately, we never saw her; but we did enjoy browsing amongst the many beautiful booths of food & wares.
