Scroll through the picture in *** ORIGINAL VIEW OR AUTO *** to appreciate the immense size of this Sequoia tree.
This is the sole Sequoia Tunnel Tree in Mariposa Grove. It was carved through in 1895. Once cars drove through it.
There was another Tunnel Tree in the grove but it collapsed after the tunnel was carved. Yosemite National Park.
