I went out to the airport this morning and fooled around a bit. I pulled out an old GAMO PR-45 air pistol which had been sitting in the desk for a very long time. I gave it a pump and discovered that the seals were leaking. So I got out some oil and started oiling and pumping, but it was not going to come back to life.
At the house I decided to try taking it apart. I looked at YouTube and found a video about taking it apart. With that background, I commenced to dismantle it. Along the way I took a photo of every step as the parts that come out so I could remember how it was put together. After taking out the pieces in the grip I got a sinking feeling that I may not be able to find a replacement seal kit. So I called it off and went to the GAMO USA website to see if I could find them. No joy, so I left them a message asking about it.
Today's photo is of the firing mechanism before removing it. A couple of springs and some metal bits was all there was. A lot simpler that my other pistols.
