One of a series of pictures from the Iron Age.
Lamassu was a human-headed and winged bull, with five feet. This one lost its head, it's in basalt, from Siverek. Wikipedia has a lot about them, and: "Assyrian sculpture typically placed prominent pairs of lamassu at entrances in palaces, facing the street and also internal courtyards." Found in Siverek.
