It rained last night and today's weather called for overcast conditions, so we decided to hike to some of the carriage road bridges and take advantage of the even light. Cindy had found someone's blog post outlining a 3-4 mile hike along the carriage roads that passed by 6 of the bridges. The hike begins at the Jordan Pond House at the Jordan Pond Dam Bridge, but we saved shooting it for another day when the fall color would be better. Pictured here is West Branch Bridge with it's single arch. This bridge was completed in 1931.
