As some may know, the Houston Astros are playing in the World Series this year. They won it for the first time in 2017. That makes for very exciting times here in Houston.

I have always had this feeling that somehow I can manage to jinx any of my teams when I watch the game. So tonight I was having those thoughts again. I started watching the game then decided I would turn the TV off and go to bed in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Astros had the lead and I was not going to chance bringing the jinx on them. You could say that I actually brought the jinx on when I quit watching and went to bed. The Nationals bats came alive and they handed the Astros a big butt beating. That entire situation in unknowable, however.

So the question becomes, what am I going to do tomorrow night for the deciding game of the World Series? Stay tuned.
