In 1994 the shipyard known by the name"De Zaat" went bankrupt.A dramatic situation for the emplyees.
After some years the curators of the bankruptcy found real estate developers to use the large terrain for building luxury apartments,houses and small business units.
At the waterside are restaurants and a supermarket
The crane is a reminder for the shipyard.
