After the Acadia Mountain hike, we returned to the loop road and stopped along the coast to do some birding. Private land mixes in with the public park land and this home was visible from one of our stops. Acadia NP came to be because of the generosity of a number of very wealthy people and people of wealth still contribute to Friends of Acadia to keep the park in it's pristine condition. Maybe one of those nice folks lives in this house.
