An antique 19th Century or earlier tsakli painting in mineral pigments depicting, within a great burst of flames, a bearded blue bodied, white haired Siddha, seated cross legged on a lotus throne, naked save his yellow, white and green celestial scarf, and intriguingly, a pair of tiger tails hanging between his legs! He has massive 'golden' earrings, and his hair is tied in a dorje-shaped chignon, some of it flowing down his back and over his shoulders. He is gazing intently down at his hands which are held in the Abhaya Hrdaya mudra or Fearless Heart mudra, his mouth open as if chanting a prayer. 10.5 x 9cm
