This above Newton Creek, the other place you asked about, I have skied up here once but had to camp out to do it on my second attempt. This is a bit south of due east of Mt Hood, this is summer of course. Some do it in a day, one guy skied up from below on skinny skis (wrote the ski book), then down the ridge to a steep but not like this place to go down.
Dont know if I have any winter pictures , might have been before digital.
Have day hiked it a few times, crossing Newton creek can be interesting but most hikers who have gone around the mountain are used to it by now.
