Southeast Virginia Pioneer Life

A restored interior of a pioneer cabin in southwest Virginia. I will be taking a few weeks away from pbase and turning my full attention to capturing new images. I hope to find some great fall colors and hopefully also some cooler weather. I plan to be posting again by mid October. Take care.

Excellent point of view the window light takes this to the top.

Wonderful image of this cabin's interior which has its own distinct personality and story...nice to see the stone fireplace to keep the family warm, a small window to let in light and so delightful to see a baby's cot and some floor rugs to make the cabin feel like home....V

low light well handled...an evocative scene from rougher times, although the colour, perhaps a quilt, adds a note of cheer..
