This was not the only mishap we saw. For roads that are less traveled, there were a lot of accidents.

A poignant image. Sparsely traveled roads are more dangerous than busy ones. Reminds me of Highway 1 in Baja California. Not only have we come upon accidents in the middle of nowhere, but there are many more little monuments along the road showing the places where people lost their lives. "V"

That's very scary to think about being on a road to lightly traveled and have an accident such as this.
