Chowing down with great lunch pals in a fun relaxing venue.
Lots of Talk story time & eating delectable victuals from an interesting selection of yummy edibles.
Plus beer for Donald Koga to relish and music to boot.
So much loud enjoyable chitchat that kept on & many stayed lingering while I had to take off
Another totaling enjoyable afternoon to say the least.

Aloha Kalama ko Kino.

Thanks for the update Edwin.
(Sorry, might take me a while to get used to Ed, much like others took a while to get used to Hal... long story)
Allan was apparently a real fun guy to know.

I actually use nearly a dozen different email addresses so sorry for any confusion, and yes, I may occasionally forget and use any one of those in email replies.
No problem with passing on the link and glad to share.

Thanks Raynor, forwarding the message to the Ohana.
If anyone needs the complete address for Valerie Ing, please email me.
Valerie by the way attended Kaimuki H.S. during her sophomore year and I believe graduated from Kalani in '61.

Aloha,
Hal

Hi Hal,

Just want to pass on that Douglas Okada and I attended the service for Al yesterday.
Friends and family gathered on the SS Lane Victory (WWII Merchant ship) in San Pedro.
His family, Robin, Gillian and Nick gave interesting insights to a complicated, funny but down-to-earth person.
He, Mel Doi and I used to email quite often.
His sister came in from Ewa too.
There was a guy even playing the bag-pipe....at Al's request.
He was a extreme military buff, and everything patriotic (which I never knew).
Also loved his football.
He will be missed.

Edwin Kubota

ps, I see you also use the hal-KHS60 email.
I also passed on the "not forgotten" link to his family.
Also, I've been in contact with Carl Yasuda and Clarence Shibuya, Chester Otani along with seeing Okada.
Thanks.

Bel has agreed to make a few remarks on AAGEN’s behalf, and asks that you send her a story if you’d like her to tell it during the program or share it with the family later.
Please let me know if you plan to attend so that I may inform Kevin, Bing’s brother-in-law.
