While waiting for the waterbus to go back home I took a shot of this gentleman sitting at the next bench .
He heard the click and asked if I had his pic.
We started a conversation and he told me he was born in Antwerp but lived now in Aachen(Germany)and that nostalgia pushed him to do the 150 km trip to see the city and the river.
Further conversation revealed our paths could have crossed in Aachen in 1967 where he was a nurse and I was stationed at the same period in the 1 Cie Med Dep.
