Built in ukrainian Luhansk between 1970 and 1982 those where delivered to many countries in the Eastern bloc,where they were known by different nick names,such as Ludmilla. Some of them can still be seen hauling heavy goods trains and for a reason unknown to me this very specimen still retains its original GDR rail livery
