bait

it can be easy to take the apparently alluring bait, and then pay the price for the mistake...supporters of right wing populists find that out every day

this is an aspect of the crab fishing scene at Jericho pier

Interesting shot and commentary, represents well the state of many these days. Sadly, some actually prefer the trap.

the bait is bigger than the catch, your comment is interesting! V

I'll take the crab!

Interesting analogy. On another level chicken necks are some of the best bait for crabbing, especially if they are a few days past the due date. That said, most politicians are way past their due date.

Seems to be working, I like your sentiment.

No words needed! Well documented!!

A story of life at many levels. Love the narrative.

Looks like there is more meat on the bait than that little crab. Time get out the measuring stick.
Helen Betts30-Aug-2019 17:32
Interesting capture of this crab trap. I don't eat seafood, especially crabs, but I have to feel sorry for the crab left in the net.

I have mixed emotions. Crabs are vicious things and will tear into it. On the other emotion, I like eating Crabs myself. Haven't had one since I'm in landlocked Kansas
