Like the day before, this image was rotated 65-degrees from where it was taken. I had to locate the moon inside my garage to point it correctly and still had to wait for it to rise past a bush as it neared the edge of the roof. When I first looked as to where to set up the lens the Moon was almost directly behind a bright LED streetlight, which was what I feared yesterday. If I am able to image it tomorrow, I will need to drive a mile or two to find a lower horizon.
While this was going on, the Moon was occulting the open star cluster M44, the Beehive, see the image of this at https://pbase.com/photographerlarry/image/169699504, or look under the heading identified by Conjunctions and Occultations under the Astrophotography header.
