August 18, 2019

So I made a trip to the liquor store to replenish my stock of beer. As I was walking through the beer section my attention was caught by a can which I had never seen before. It was "Guns & Oil." A fine combination. It was sort of like walking through the fishing supplies at the sporting goods store. The lures are designed to catch fishermen, not fish. So this beer caught me and I was thinking about John Cooper because he would most certainly agree that it was a great name. So I bought a six pack and put it in the refrigerator. I decided to give it a try today. All I can say is that I now have five cans of pretty lousy beer left in the fridge. I will foist it off on friends when they come over. Give them a chance to try a new brew. BTW it is brewed in Idaho.

It seems a shame, but those
marketers seem to run all
aspects of our lives.

Yes John it is a great name, them marketing men are very shrewd at selling second rate goods.
I would have bought some as well.
Will I ever learn.
