Day 47 7-20

And so we ended our road trip today. It was 47 days and we really saw a pot-load of stuff. Great fun. I always return home with mixed feelings. It is good to get back and know there is a cold beer in the fridge. It is good to get the air conditioners working and finally to have a night's sleep in our own bed. On the other hand, I really enjoy being on the road. our trips are fun and interesting and quite honestly, I just love doing stuff with Ginny. So the story of the trip is 47 days, 7906 miles. That is an average of 168 miles per day. That calculates out to 318 gallons of gas which cost about $875. Cheap thrills. Life is good. We head out on another one on August 24th.
