One of four Archadian shepherds on the Aviary Terrace, looking out over the beautiful gardens at Powis Castle. The lead statue of a standing figure of an Arcadian shepherd playing a flute, wearing a broad brimmed hat and a knee-length aproned coat, fastened by a belt from which a waterbottle hangs. Right elbow on rustic post, legs crossed, with a small dog on his right foot. The original was stolen in 1992 and never recovered so this is a copy of the original.
