This painting is in the church at Raqch'i. The more famous version of this painting can be seen in the cathedral at Cusco. But they charge you entrance fees at that cathedral and, furthermore, they do not allow you to take pictures. We refused to enter that place - a church that had entrance fees. But, here is was, a picture on the same subejct available for all to look at for free.
The Peruvians practice a form of Catholicism that includes many of the old Incan practices. I suspect that the authorities in Rome would frown on some of these activities.
