Nitobe Memorial Garden

a miniature pagoda is de rigueur at such a place...the garden was named for Dr Inazo Nitobe, a professor (in both Japan and in the USA), economist, author, politician and diplomat...he died in Victoria B.C in 1933, and the garden is the result of the efforts of his friends
