The Cávado river is a river of Portugal that rises in the Serra do Larouco, more precisely in the source of Pipa, at an altitude of about 1520 m,
it passes through the municipalities of Montalegre, Terras de Bouro, Vieira do Minho, Amares, Póvoa de Lanhoso , Vila Verde, Braga, Barcelos, Esposende
and flows into the Atlantic Ocean near Esposende, after a journey of 135 km.
