a lovely birthday present for me! I love the contrast of the soft feathery bird and the harshness of the rusty fence. Beautiful....

Thanks, Michael. Yes, I agree. We have two species of bluebird, the Western and the Mountain. The Mountain bluebirds show much more blue, and of a slightly different shade.
