There were two items on the agenda today. The first was a visit to a cacao plantation. I was expecting a short visit, but the tour and chocolate tasting took three hours. It was very good. Included was also sampling of about half a dozen tropical fruits which were all new to me. I would like to have that type of fruit every day, but it ain't going to happen in Houston.

The highlight of the day was a helicopter tour of the island. The helo was a Hughes 500 and they had removed the doors. Perfect for photography. As we explored the island of Kauai from the air, it was apparent that there is almost an unlimited number of waterfalls. The highlight of the trip was Manawaiopuna Falls. To jog your memory, this is the waterfall that was the location of the helicopter landing in the opening scenes of Jurassic Park. That is the subject of today's photo.
