Working RAY-O-VAC batteries 1940s

I got a very old film camera from one of relatives, they said it had been in the family for a really long time and asked me if I wanted it. After getting the camera I found the batteries in the old flash. I took them out and tested them and to my amazement one battery had a 1.47v and the other one had 1.42v. From some adds I found online for these batteries, it seems they are really old, and came out some time in the 1940s, so they are around 60 to 70 years old.
